How We Build

In 2008, Richard Wallace Builder relocated from Raleigh to Carolina Beach, bringing 40 years of homebuilding experience and a vast amount of construction knowledge, right here to the coastal communities of Southeastern North Carolina. Inspired by the natural shoreline, our building plans often incorporate coastal elements such as, lanais, breezy porches, relaxing spa spaces, and always, open air living spaces. Our success is a result of the long-term relationships that we have built with each of our homeowners. We recognize the importance of delivering on promises and of close collaboration with our homeowners. Our goal is simple: to ensure that the families we work with achieve the home of their dreams. Buying Your Home

Step 1
Contact Richard Wallace Builder to identify the house plan that will work for you and your family. We will work with you to build the perfect dream home to suit your needs!
Step 2
Next, we will review any structural changes that need to be made and finalize them.
Step 3
Work with the Richard Wallace Builder team to choose a home site. If you already have a lot purchased, we will confirm that the lot you already own will work with your plan.
Step 4
Finalize the selections that make your house “your home”. From the countertops to the floor, we will help you choose all of the finishing touches to personalize your home.
Step 5
Once we have all of the specifications for your dream home, we will provide pricing based on the preliminary plans, home site and specifications.
Step 6
The final step will be to finalize all details on the plan and specifications and execute a contract. Upon signing, you will be one step closer to your dream home!
